As the proud owner and primary practitioner of Blackheath Eyecare, I've been serving clients since 2007, but I initially joined the team in 2003. My mission has always been to prioritise excellence, innovation, and the well-being of people's eyes. Utilising state-of-the-art technology and expert staff, we offer the most comprehensive eye examination services available within a community optometric practice.

Hello I am Suzy, I joined the practice in 2003 as a Dispensing Optician. I am the administrator for both of our practices ensuring the smooth running of our establishments and helping us deliver an exceptional service to you all. When I’m not working on tasks behind the scenes you will see me in practice or speak to me on the phone.

Hi I’m Jo, I’m a Dispensing Optician and I have been with the company since 2015. I’ve been in the optical industry for almost 25 years and qualified as an optician in 2006.
I love getting to know our clients and finding the perfect pair of specs for them. It makes me so happy when people collect their new glasses and feel and look great in them! I’m very passionate about delivering the best customer journey to each person that visits us, where I always endeavour to make people feel good and well looked after.

Hi I’m Jade, I’m Blackheath Eyecares Senior Optical Assistant. I have been in the industry since 2011 and I enjoy helping people find the perfect eyewear look for them. I am passionate about frames and finding frames to suit different styles. I mainly specialise in Myopia Management and Contact Lens Tuitions; one of my favourite parts of my job is getting to know my clients very well and seeing them through their eyewear journey.
