Introducing MiYOSMART spectacle lenses, the perfect solution for young glasses enthusiasts or individuals who are not suitable for contact lens myopia management. These lenses can even be paired with MiSight Myopia Management, providing the freedom to choose between spectacles or contact lenses. With the prevalence of myopia projected to skyrocket from 27% in 2010 to a staggering 52% of the global population by 2050, it’s essential to address this issue early on to prevent long-term vision problems.
While traditional single-vision spectacle lenses provide clear vision, they don’t actively manage myopia progression. That’s where MiYOSMART comes in. Developed in partnership with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, these lenses utilise the innovative D.I.M.S Technology. By combining the focus area and the defocus area, MiYOSMART lenses correct vision and help slow down myopia progression.
In a two-year clinical trial, daily use of MiYOSMART spectacle lenses resulted in an average 60% reduction in myopia progression compared to standard single-vision lenses. For added convenience, MiYOSMART is also available in a sunglasses lens option, offering protection rain or shine.

The myopia management journey begins with a Consultation & Advanced Eye Examination to discover what options may be suitable for you or your child’s eyes specifically. If found to be a suitable MiYOSMART candidate, there will be an upfront fee and an ongoing monthly care and product Direct Debit, this continues throughout the course of treatment for as long as you remain under our care. Once MiYOSMART is deemed suitable for you, our friendly dispensing professionals will guide you through the process of selecting appropriate frames and explain how the lenses work. After selecting your desired frames and taking specific measurements, your MiYOSMART spectacles will be ready for final fitting in approximately 2 weeks. This ensures that the fit and alignment of the glasses and lenses are perfect for your individual needs.
